Almost done...

With this semester...it seems to be dragging on but after this week I'll be done. Brent still has a couple of weeks left before he is done. I'm really excited that I will have three whole months of not-school. I have three quizzes and one final left this semester. For the Fall semester I'm taking an Abnormal Psychology class and a Women in Technology class. I managed to turn in all the homework that was due this week this morning while at the tire shop getting one of my tires plugged (they had wifi and comfy seats)! I think tires secretly have magnets in them because I always seem to be running over a nail or screw...

Brent took off Thursday and Friday of last week so we could have a four day Easter weekend. Yesterday we celebrated Easter here with Easter baskets, and Easter egg hunt, coloring Easter eggs and making Easter cookies. We had quiche for brunch, turkey cucumber wraps for a snacky lunch item and then crawfish etouffe for dinner along with a strawberry pie for dessert. I forgot how much I like crawfish etouffe and I don't think I have made it in a couple of years. It was yummmo.

The flowers are starting to bloom and I'm going to work really hard at killing all the honeysuckle I can this year. I bought some more salvia to replace the two plants I killed last year when trying to spray the nasty invasive lovely smelling vine. I would love to kill it all and replace it with more lillies. I still have to finish the drywall ceiling in the living room, I have not had the motivation at alllllll. After the semester ends I should have more time to do it...that is the idea at least.
