The staycation has started...yesterday we ventured out to Pontious Farm to pick some raspberries and blackberries, we also picked up a squash. Makenna had fun playing in the sand and with toys. Afterwards she went to pet some dogs, cats, horses and fed a goat. After all that work we checked ourselves out and headed back to Shampoobanana for some dinner.

Saturday we worked on fixing a squirrel hole in the fascia. Apparently the squirrels thought it was necessary for me to get a little electroshock therapy while I was up in the attic assessing the situation. I have two nice marks on my stomach from where I was electrocuted, the squirrels had chewed the insulation off a part of wire, which I layed on while getting out of a very tight space. I'm fine, other than the healing marks on my stomach. Rat devils!

Today we took back some dvds and books from the library, ate peep, rocked Curtis Orchard, and then Makenna took a nap while Brent went to the other library on a search for our house info. He did manage to find this picture, taken in 1984 of our house. I'll try to get it uploaded later, the picture uploader is having issues.
Notice the monster bushes that use to be little, you know the ones we cut down. The baywindow on the front now obviously wasn't there in the 80s. The brick foundation was painted red, there was a garage, and the front attic windows have since been replace with an old lead window. This was a real estate photo for when it was put on the market, here reads the ad: The charm and warmth of another era is recaptured in this beautifully restored older home. 5 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, fireplace and kitchen with new cabinets. Siding, roof, insulation, wiring and storm windows new in last 4 years. $51,000, then marked to $44,900.
Some new pictures are up....
