Really wanting this haircut, Jill, what do ya think? I'm loving the look of it w/the bangs.

EDIT: Ok so I didn't style it the same way...buuuut I LOVE it and mine is a tad different b/c I have some layers in the front that I need to grow out. Tres Chic! Ok the second photo is styled more like the photo I used for the cut.

A list of what I should be doing

...instead of plunking around on the internet.

1. Cleaning...anything, something, a toilet, a rug, a bedroom
2. Putting away laundry, clutter, shoes, toys
3. Painting..trim, the house, shoe molding, I am seriously wanting to repaint the bedroom connected to our but have made myself promise not to UNTIL I finish the shoe molding.
4. Mitering shoe molding, I have the pieces cut for the sitting room EXCEPT two pieces next to the fireplace (buggers those will be to cut)
5. Working out, I got an elliptical this week from the restore and it kicks my booty every night, anyone want to buy a treadmill?
6. Shoveling dirt out from under the basement staircase, ha, I dread that day, you have no idea, maybe I'll take a picture
7. Uploading pictures..it's been a while.
8. Mowing the yard..but it's about to REALLY rain, darn...

9. Running the pex for the laundry room..and that takes us back to number 1...cleaning the laundry room...hahaha

Have a great weekend!

CoCo Mero and the Train station

Grandpa Lee brought Grandma Helen over to Chambana last night. We took her out to CoCo Mero, a frozen yogurt place that opened recently. Oh my, it was good. You grab your cup and then head to the yogurt machines to choose your flavors. I chose strawberry, mango tart and green tea. Then you move to the toppings, I chose kiwis and chocolate chips. It is 39 cents an oz. So for the three of us, it cost a little over $5. Grandma tried pineapple, banana cream and green tea. Makenna tried strawberry and blueberry. Brent tried chocolate fudge, cheesecake, and stawberry. Let me tell you, it was gooood. They are located in the old moonstruck cafe building.

Makenna and I took Grandma to the train station this morning. Makenna was more than excited!

We:

1. Sat with Grandma at the train station, waiting for the late train, success.
2. Returned a lost sippy cup to a toddler who was about to get on said late train, success.
3. Saw two amtrack trains and one freight train, waved goodbye to all three, success.
4. Rode the elevator a total of three times, success.
5. Fought the temptation to go to the subway in the train station for lunch, success.
6. Bribed the toddler to leave the train station, success.
7. Got to the car and retreived my parking ticket, damn...I mean success for the city, I guess.

Cost to take Grandma to the train station and get a ticket.. $10, seeing your daughter enjoying the trains and her day, priceless.

Whirl Of A Weekend!

It seems like the weekend just flew by!

Saturday we went to Jon and Aubrey's for a cookout, celebrating the completion of Jon's MBA. We had lots of fun chatting it up with everyone and Makenna had fun running around with all the girls. Most everyone that has kids, has girls. Around 7:30 it started raining, so everyone packed up and said goodbye. I totally forgot to take any photos, booo.

Sunday we....did a bunch of nothing. Brent mowed the lawn for me, woohoo, it was really needing it! We watched some movies that were on tv, lol, like I said a bunch of nothing.

I started to get a sore throat again yesterday...hopefully it isn't strep again. It doesn't feel any worse today, but I'm keeping an eye on it.

It's June, where did May go? Next month we go to Florida for some much needed vacation time!
